It's how I was raised I guess. A melting pot would be a good way to describe my life so far.

Did it taste like sour dough? That's the real question.

You kidding me I couldn't put my face there. My fingers are permanatly stank. Don't like vegans for same reason. If I meet a vegan Indian chick I'm diving into traffic.

Also do the same with Jains. They are just as deadly.

Naan's a North Indian thing. I make my own roti and paratha.

Target actually sells probably the best pre made naan. Think it's called "Stone Fire" or something. Usually grab a pack when I'm making something North Indian.

Naan vag would be nice, but I think a nice kheer vag would be better.

Next time you get Indian food, see if the place had Utranchal roti/paratha. Pairs well with vindaloo.

Haha. Kheer. I love that stuff. Also a huge fan of vindaloo. I'll have to copy these down, because I'm not really an Indian food connoisseur and would love to try more.

OMG. I went to google paratha recipes to see what it was compared to naan and I got some of these results. Given the context of our discussion, I did not read that as "Veg Recipes of India." Clicked as, was disappointed.

Thinking about starting a forum kinda like this one for incoming 1Ls at my law school. Kiddies can talk about mental issues, classes, time management skills, etc. Free and accessible for them, nothing in it for me except the peace of knowing they won't be ODing on Xanax or Adderall. Idea is to keep it anonymous so they won't bitch out on asking for advice. Heavy moderation to ensure law school's honor code is not violated. Thoughts? Advice? Tips?

Restrict access to only that school so they can discuss classes. Plus, I've been there not too long ago...not a single student used any online forum, yet we all flocked to a Facebook page created by our dean to post questions.

My mom used to make some nasty parathas growing up. Bleh. I used to stuff it in my pocket when she wasn't looking, run to the bathroom, and flush it down the toilet. All done eating, Mom!!

My mom made good paratha's. My Ba (grandma for those not brown) made awesome paratha's. Went down like water when hot. She's the one who taught me how to make them myself lol.

Really dependent on how much oil one uses while cooking.

Please, teach my mom. I will pay you. Name your price.

"Hopefully this weekend."

"Oh GREAT! I'll make you dinner!"
