Warranty oil change 10K wiggle room?

Just about to get my first free oil change as I approach 10K miles. Since I'm just hitting 9K, how much wiggle room around the 10K am I allowed in order to not void the warranty? I'm assuming anytime between 9K and 11K, but I could be wrong about the high end. I drive a lot and am trying to thread the needle on when I'll be in one place for a while to get the work done. Also, do they give you a loaner as part of the service?

I doubt a dealer would give a loaner for oil service. If they did that, they wouldn't have loaners for people with actual warranty repairs. I'm betting your choices will be wait, or rent a car.

We get a loner for regular service, even for things outside the warranty.

Yep, that seems to be the answer on a loaner. Sheesh. Thanks.

Did you buy the car from the dealer doing the service? I always get a loaner. You just have to specify you need a loaner when you make your appointment. I get service at the dealer I purchased from. I’ve heard some dealers will only offer loaners to sales customers.

loaner behavior is not universal. It varies from dealer to dealer.

As a dealer we reserve loaners for any service over 3 hours/ warranty repairs/ or loyal customers that purchase from us. There are benefits to purchase local and not buy outside of your market to save a couple hundred dollars.

Oil can be changed for free after the service oil alert activates.

Thanks for that answer. That's exactly how it worked out.

This has been my experience as well. It’s also why I try to combine services/issues into a single appointment so it’s almost guaranteed to be all day or more. LOL. My loaner game is strong.
