Stuck in Quality Control

Anyone else stuck in Quality Control? My car was built two weeks ago and has been stuck ever since. As if the wait for Individual Paint wasn’t long enough, this “bonus” wait time is killing me.

Mine spent 4-5 days in QC. Two weeks would have driven me crazy. Good luck.

The factory won't release the reason for a specific vehicle being in QC to either the dealer or Genius. Given the timeframe it likely is waiting for a part from Europe.

Thanks TB…..I hope that’s the case and nothing more serious.

Not yet, but i did get good news this week. I made it out of Quality Control and was able to schedule Performance Center Delivery the second week of Jan. It’s been a long wait….but think the Individual Paint will make the wait worth it in the end.

Long Wait Finally Over.

After a 7+ month wait, I was able to pick up my new ride at the Performance Center this week. PCD was well worth the wait…as was the Individual Color. I was beginning to second guess my decision until I saw the bright light bounce off the Oxford Green. The way it changes color in light and dark is truly amazing. Could not be happier. Thanks to all on this forum who have offered tons of valuable information.
