Wheel issue with SW - Is there a solution here?

I bought a 2025 X5 50e that came with staggered 21" 741 wheels. The wheels it came with were :

Front : 275/40 R21
Rear : 315/35 R21

I then purchased a second set of wheels for the winter that were squared 20" 748M OEM wheels with Pirelli Winter Scorpion

Front and rear : 275/45 R20

The tires fit fine, no issue driving them... My problem is my X5 thinks I have staggered wheels on it and they recommend 38 PSI for the front and 44 PSI for the rear. And if I am running the new winter rear tires at 37 psi then the car electronics complain saying I'm 7 psi under and I need to add more air.

Any recommendations here? I feel like I should not inflate these new rear to 44 psi and should really go with the psi for the dimensions for the front since they are the same tire. So pretty much live with BMW throwing an tire pressure error when I know it's not in error? I did manually set the tires to the correct tires, and I did a reset of the TMPS.

What can I do here? tips? tricks? Can I try bumping up to something like 39 psi and maybe it's 'close enough'? Tell the car manually I have different tires that might have a lower pressure recommendation?

I checked the max inflation pressure for the tire and it could be inflated to 50 psi at a max. Where should I inflate these squared tires too? any recommendations?

Did you change tire settings in iDrive from 21" to 20"? Recommended tire pressure for the X5 50e at 275/45R20 is 36F & 44R.

Yes I changed the setting in the iDrive (see attached photo). You're correct that the iDrive says 36 psi for the front and 44 psi for the rear. The door sticker though says 38 psi front, 44 rear. The door sticker also says though that the rear tires are 315/35 R21's where I changed to a squared setup where my front and rear are now the same at 275/45 R20..... So my main question is - What should my rear tires psi be at since they are now the same tires as my front?

Since the door sticker is stating PSI for 21" wheels, it's not relevant PSI to the smaller wheels. I'd just follow the BMW recommended in the manual for the 20" squared (36 front & 44 rear). Tires don't always need to have the same PSI front and back just because they're set squared. Weight distribution, rear wheel bias, understeer, towing, softer rubber compound, etc. are all conditions I'm sure BMW took into consideration.

Thanks! Big help here referring me to the manual. Yup, you're correct... I need to inflate my rear tires. Nice that the manual has the settings for squared tires too.
