I bought the new grill on Amazon and swapped it out in just a few minutes. There is a tutorial in the forums.

Re: rims. I may just black out the current rims instead of going for a new set. Roads in the northeast are terrible so 22”s aren’t an option.

Yep, got them from IND. Pricey but everything is for these cars.

I paid 115 for the X drive 50i emblem and 95 for the X5 emblem...Crazy but looks so much better.

Im always down for a meet, lmk! Weather should be breaking in the next few weeks

Just stop washing them. They'll be powder coated black with brake dust in about 1-2 weeks, so much money saved!

No issues all smooth, was surprised how fast it came! Ordered second week of Feb it arrived last week! Everything was as advertised. I read drove the white one as well. I got DHP which that did not have and so far I'm really happy with it. It's night and day with my previous f15 msport.

Only issue I would state is having your ducks in a row with respect to what you want to do. I wanted to lease and the numbers tied out (base mf, no fees apart from the doc fee regulated by NY etc) but last minute wanted to buy since the MF is actually really high when you consider where rates are, so thought just buy with minimum financing to get the finance credit. But the finance guy was a bit of a disaster and I got too frustrated speaking with him as he wasn't transparent just kept trying to flog tire and wheel insurance for 2500 bucks. Anyway that's more my own indecision and impatience at fault. Just have all your own numbers lined up because that aspect of dealing with the finance guy felt a bit cheap.

i'm actually very curious on how your DHP car feels compared to the white one on the lot with just adaptive msport suspension.... Obviously with DHP it would handle better when tossed around but how does it feel just normal driving?

I hear you on the finance guy. They are always the dealers last resort to get you to spend unnecessary money. I was spoiled that my last SA was a friend of mine and we just handled all the paperwork ourselves without the need to ever speak to anyone else.

It's hard for me to compare to the non DHP white one only because I wasn't able to stress it too much on the test drive. But the steering on mine is so tight, whether charging at 90 on the parkway, cutting up the west side highway trying to avoid corona on the subway or making uturns and parking. Steering is uber tight and confident. My f15 feels like a boat in comparison. I only have the 740m 20s fwiw. I had low profiles on my e70 in London have no interest in that on NYC minefield roads. Anyone who does god bless them.
