2/4/2022 - Xpel Performance PPF (full hood, front bumper, front fenders, rockers, headlights, mirrors) Ceramic coating, replaced front and rear reflectors with IND, Xpel tint (35% front windows) debadged

1. Sly Brackets - Front license plate bracket with leveling kit
2. BMW all-weather mats (front, rear, trunk)
3. Sunglass holder
4. Tempered glass for front screen protection
5. Center console storage
6. Door locks covers
7. AutoTecknic gloss black mirror covers

I never owned F15 but E70s never had a sunglass holder, I did same thing there.

wheels are made - complete, waiting on shipment from East (might take some time)

2. Bowers and Wilkins visual upgrade in progress, installed center cover and connected the lights. Next step are the doors, real audio upgrade (amp etc., will come later)





3. Bimmercoded the car, these are the options I coded so far:

Default driving mode: Adaptive
Auto Start Stop function: Disable
Warning at start-up: Disable
Seat belt reminder: Disable
One-touch turn signal 5 times
Video in motion
Welcome Light in darkness only: Enable
Automatic mirror tilt value: 50%
iDrive - Start animation - ///M
iDrive - Volume popup - Disable
Instrument cluster - Layout - Alpina, Alpina logo - Removed



Last but not least new rims came in I'm pretty exited as seen on this picture

How do you remove the alpine logo but keep the alpina layout ? Is that a new option in BimmerCode ?

Bimmercode:
Same place where you choose the Alpine logo switch to Expert mode and search for following:

LOGO_SCHRIFTZUG

go in and change the value from Alpina to kein_logo

or choose the logo you wish to have: some logos won't work as they are not compatible with Alpine layout (I tried M logo and it didn't work)

Not totally sure yet, might due the Bavsound upgrade but not right away.
B&W also an option but it will cost that much more, I will also need to replace D pillars etc.,

time will tell but I'm sure to update this thread with my decision
