That is correct, we were discussing DHP prior to the 24's. For the 24's you just need to get 2VW Adaptive M Suspension Professional and the result will be the previous DHP package due to the standard IAS.

Yeah I figured as much, my philosophy is if I want what I want, then I should be willing to wait. But I know if I show up with a build code and some $$ to put down I would get a different answer.

If what is being said regarding the number of 50e allocations being available this year it may be correct what they are saying.

Is your VIR for a 2023 or 2024 model.

Attached is my VIR for a 2024 X5 M60i. You can see I do have 2VW but no ZX5 (which sucks).

MY 2024
Interesting, my DHP and your Adaptive M Suspension Pro has the same MSRP $2200.00
Mine is an X6 so perhaps there is a difference.

I don't see anything in the X5 configurator for ventilated seats. Heated seats is an option. Did they do away with ventilated seats?

Not sure where you are located, but size of dealer matters on how many allocations they get. That was first noted on this forum and turned out to be true. I was told by a dealer in the PNW I would get their first allocation since I had an i4 on order with them. However, they didn’t get any allocations for the April build. He said they all went to CA in the west. When he couldn’t say if he’d get one for May, I checked in with an old neighbor in SoCal who is a GM. He was sure he’d get an allocation for May build and promised me one. I got a better deal even with the shipping cost to PNW. So that’s a conflicting view from what your dealer is telling you. When I had asked him about an i4 last year, he couldn’t give me anything off MSRP. This time around he could (less demand?). But, it is possible your dealer won’t get any allocations for a couple months. Bottom line, I’d ask around for sure

Follow up too. I placed my order with BMW of Murietta (CA). They had a canceled order for April build. He gave me a great deal. I have to pay shipping to central Oregon, but that is $800 and the discount more than covers that cost. We were contemplating an individual color and he told me that would have to go in to the next allocation because he can’t switch a 112 order to custom color. Point is, he could do this in his April allocation. He wasn’t worried about that at all.

I have just been to my dealership today and placed an order for the new LCI X6 M40i

https://configure.bmw.co.uk/en_GB/configid/nvrh5r3q

Should turn up by August or September, also asked for the M Performance Parts (Front splitter and the steering wheel).

Can't wait to drive it.

Congratulations great build but a lot of money for 40i, still can't configure LCI X5 40i on UK configurator.

I'm also going with M60, and even though most would choose carbon fiber, I'm pretty sure I'm choosing Fineline Black Wood.

Don’t do it ! (Of course you can do as you please)

But that Fineline Black Wood Trim looks hideous.

Wood has no place in a car. Ever since bmw bought Rover donkeys years ago they have had this obsession with wood.

I think all the interior trims of the LCI X5x40i look hideous, especially compared to the alternatives of the X5M60i. But I am sticking with the x40i and ugh fineline black wood....

Is the 40i coming out for X5 in the UK? I want one as well, but can only see the hybrid and Diesel engine.

Don't understand why 40i isn't on configurator, may be worth asking a dealer.

Drove a Rivian last week - wood trim looks great. But I agree, depends on the vehicle

LOL what a silly comment. The only type of trim I would want in a luxury SUV is wood.

I just wish there were more light wood options like the X7s Silver Ash Root Open Pore Wood Trim.

But Fineline Black Wood looks great.
