In Europe its an extra or part of a package. Current demo in NL is without sunroof but has an alcantara headliner

TurtleBoy, do you have any insight on the B&W becoming available on the 50e? I know in previous years it’s come and gone. I was holding out for blue and the Bowers. Now that Tanzanite is an option the sound system is the only thing holding me back.

It all seems to depend on the supply chain issues which as we have seen are still pretty bad. Last I saw things were supposed to start normalizing by the end of the year but haven't did any research on that lately.

As an aside, we still have not had anyone confirm that Tanzanite, or any of the Priority 1 paints, are actually available for order in the US for the non-M60i's. Been hoping someone would have by now but so far nothing. The latest pricing guide we have seen shows they are not available but the Configutrator was changed after the issue date.

That is my understanding. When it first came out some folks said it was bigger than the standard moonroof but I don't remember seeing anything to back that up.

We just had someone post that they have an order in for a 50e with Dravit. Given that, I think we can assume that the Configurator is correct and the Priority 1 paints are available.

I do believe the Panoramic Sky Lounge Roof is larger than the standard panoramic moonroof. At least in comparison to a 2019 G05. I have an LCI with exec and can measure to confirm. Also, the verbiage on the configurator site description suggests the same with “enhances the dimensions.”

I think that, and some marketing materials, is where the idea came from regarding it being bigger. We have just not seen any technical docs on the difference.

I had a test drive with a 50e today. I had no issues with the instrument cluster, I could even change the temp without crashing the car.
But that engine... It sounds tougher than the 45e engine. Packs a lot more power and torque. The electric motor is now matured and almost a real EV motor. You can overtake another car in electric mode.

The M sport steering wheel was a bit thinner than the M sport steering wheel in my 45e. Did they change dimensions on the steering wheels?

Can't wait for my 50e delivery

What do you mean by tougher? Is the engine sound louder ? I found the 45e to be quiet.

Yes the engine sound was louder, rougher than my 45e.

Yes combined performance is noticeably better.

I also have the same question on how to change default driving mode. My defaults to Hybrid when I would prefer Hybid Eco Pro.

I feel like the rear turn signal lights on the X5 and X7 LCI are weak and have an odd interval compared to the pre-facelift models

of course the design is significantly different on the LCI X5 taillights as a whole but something is off with the light intensity and the speed

curious if anyone else has taken note of this

The multi-contour seat option is just the seats, not massaging or ventilated. Not sure of the status of the passenger seats memory, I thought is came with the multi-contour seats so maybe someone can add more info.
