That sounds really good! Couldn’t seem to find the listing on their site for the X5 M60i version though. 🤔

I’d reckon the difference would be minimal if any. What would be the difference between an X5 and an X7 that could impact the sound?

as for the seats... they're insane. Another level good. While we did our "get to know" trip (150 miles roughly), my wife especially appreciated those little winglets (shoulder supports). They prove to be pretty good pillows... as she obviously fell asleep during the ride. So did my 5-yr-old. So much for family excitement

I'll surely pass on the piggyback - warranty is voided the second you install the chip, and I'm not taking any risks

Looks great! I don’t understand why BMW NA neuters our seat options.

Very nice. Congratulations! I’ve had my m60i for 2 months now with about 1,300 miles driven, and love it.

A few more thoughts, which I’ve collected over the two day ownership so far
Things to love
Surely, there are concerns as well - my main two are:
I guess I may be adding some thoughts along the way. Another few short journeys await me today

Changed the engine oil today, to complete the run-in period
Went to an authorized dealer's shop and they put OEM oil in (BMW LL 12FE 0W-30)

Way to go. I wanted to change oil myself as well and after researching what oil to use and what not. Then I checked my dealers website and I saw that they have a special on oil changes, so I changed it with them and it came out cheaper than I would have done it myself.

Same for me. The cost per liter of oil came out at 50% of the retail price. I was very (positively) surprised when I saw the invoice. Hoping for no foul play

So, my love has paid a visit to a beauty parlor. I’m picking her up tomorrow, but got a few rough pics from the shop owner
We did ceramic coating of the whole body and tinting on the front door windows. Also, there is PPF on the headlamps, in the doorhandle wells (or whatever you call the area behind the doorhandles which ALWAYS gets fingernail scratches), and there's also PPF on the rear passenger doorsill (always scratched by my kid climbing to/from his seat) A few snaps:

Thank you
I chose the least dark film, I guess it was 50%, which means little to me in fact. The main objective was for UV reduction and a slight reduction of the contrast between the rear and front side glass

Just for reference the rears are 20% per my tint guy. I'll do the fronts to match (appointement next week) but like matowi I'll not do the windshield.
