My first BMW SUV and I love it!

Picked up the MY25 X5 m60i at PDC. First, I want to thank all the people at BMW Performance Delivery Center and Museum.

Stayed at The Heartness new hotel having a great stay and great dinner at their restaurant.

Now to the vehicle’s impression. I’ve had the opportunity to drive it at PDC auto course pushing it in the corners and the slalom. Loved the torque and low body roll. IDrive 8.5 is great and day to night from the previous software. Drove from SC to Miami in manual mode for proper break in. Comfort is the word I would use to describe the X5. Great visibility and great Sensafin seats. AC is great and Ventilated seats could be better.

I’ve already tinted with 3M Ceramic the front 15%, rear and pano moonroof at 50% and windshield at 70%. Hard wired the CTek 7002 to keep the main battery fresh whenever I don’t drive it for more that a week. Added floating caps, BMW all weather mats, Weathertech trunk mat and cargo net. Weathertech cup holder rubber inserts, seatbelt buckle covers, center console tray. Need to replace orange reflectors with IND white metallic inserts. I will PPF the rockers and behind the front and rear wheels only. I don’t like the look of PPF on a white vehicle because eventually the glue will turn yellow and specially in Miami sun. Covercraft Sunbrella cover will protect the paint.

Thank you. You'll love it. I was just telling my wife how much I love the SUV. This is technically her car but I do the driving since she works from home. I didn't know I was going to enjoy it that much.

Looks great! Congrats! Post some pics of some of those other interior things you added. Just picked mine up at the PC a few days ago. I need to order a trunk mat, although I've heard mixed reviews on the longevity of the Weathertech ones with them rolling in some on the edges.

Thank you, the trunk mat fits perfectly and I don’t see any issues so far. I had to cut the holes in the back in order to be able to fit the hooks for the net. I was also looking at the Tuxmat trunk but it was not available. I like the look of the Weathertech over the BMW OEM.

Just added their pictures for the other accessories. I ‘ve also placed black alcantara protector to avoid scratching the pillar.

Sorry about Italy!

It's one of those things that you spend money on purely to make you happy when you see it because no one else is going to see it. Its somewhat similar to me replacing the Roundels with the painted ones. 99% of the world will have no clue that I changed them. Also similar with the floating center caps, although I have had 2 people notice those.

Nice! I’ve done floating caps also.

I think I got that same center organizer from Amazon today. I didn't realize it til I got it, but I actually like that I can 'hide' less used stuff under it.

I’d like to keep a small microfiber and spray bottle for screen and center console cleaning. Also, USB C cable connected for phone charging. I use Zeiss screen cleaning wipes and spray.

I keep a small microfiber towel in the little pull-out cubby just below left of the steering wheel. Perfect size for it. Is this the spray you're using?

I do not use the Gel. I use the Glass cleaner and also keep the wipes just in case.

That’s exactly what I use.

On that cubby I keep my Sig P365
