Genuine BMW M Performance front 4 pot rear,1 pot brake kit for G05X5 G06X6 installed

Installed this Genuine M performance brake kit on this G05 X5. The brake kit from BMW contains everything you need like bolts, sensor cable, dust pan etc. It is running 395mm x 36mm front brake disc and 398mm x 28mm rear brake disc. Much better stopping power for such a heavy car.

Looks sweet! Where does the braking performance improvement come from? I presume only from the size of the rotors?

Hmmmm... wonder how much the dimpled rotors are alone?

My truck has the sport brakes stock, but I don't have the dimpled rotors unfortunately.

When you have the brakes done you can change out the rotors. I believe they are about $410 each front $354 rear from BMW Parts Pro vs the $195 each for the standard rotors.

Front part number 34106887 657 left. 34106887658 right

I know this is an old thread but do you have the PN for the rear caliper brackets from your boxes?

I recently purchased 4 dimpled rotors for my 2021 X5 M501 and the fronts work perfect but the rears are the smaller rotor.

It looks like the bracket is the only difference and would move the caliper back enough to use the new rotors.

Looks great but sad BMW still can't get brakes done right. Tiny pad for such a heavy SUV and sliding calipers still in the rear? Should be at least 6 pistons in front and 4 in back.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
