I haven't been a fan of the star spokes, but they look really good in your pics against carbon black.

Thanks for the inspiration. I made them the week after your post showing how you did it. They work great. I only wish I made them sooner to save 6 months worth of paint damage (fortunately only minor chips but I'm OCD and they bother me).

I too didn't install them for 800 miles and my doors already had some paint chips which was what prompted me to get them done asap.

Finally got to take pictures after a fresh wash and loaded with carpro reload. Last weekend I coated with Graphene but added the reload after the first wash for extra slickness and a topper.

nice! Reload def makes the blue pop. I have reload on mines as well and I recently washed it with hydro2 foam and it's amazing how the blue shines in the FL sun.

I have Cquartz UK on mine and what I found out is that over time it actually makes the MBB a slightly deeper blue color. I only found out because i had to polish random areas of the car to remove minor swirls and noticed that the areas that i just machine polished (removed the cquartz) the color was different. Slightly lighter shade of blue. I ended up re polishing the entire panel then reapplied cquartz so it looked uniform.
