Depends on the location, my dealer told mee 1w to ship from Zeebrugge and 1 week to prep the car (inspection for tow bar, cleaning, getting the plates and insurance, …)

4 - 6 weeks from Bremerhaven to your dealer? That's not how it's go: there are almost every day vessels between Bremerhaven and Zeebrugge but mostly the cars come by car transport.

Titania ship coming from Bremerhaven is approaching Zeebruge this evening. Hopefully with our cars that were passing the checks..will see tomorrow with the dealer if delivery status code is changed:

I wouldn't count on that. Just a regular shipment.

Indeed, not on this one
I have checked the BOL on this ship and there is no trace of my VIN.

You assume that the cars will be shipped to Zeebrugge for the Belgian market. The inspection of the cars is not done in Bremerhaven, so I don't believe BMW will bring the cars back to Bremerhaven after inspection, but rather put them on road transport to Belgium. The status/recall is different for me between the Austrian and the Belgian websites when I input my VIN number.

But great: 5 weeks later since they informed me about possible dammage and still no news : top customer service BMW!

Same here, no news after 5 weeks of waiting. And the storm was 2 months ago so they had time to prepare everything.

Yes there are, but all of them are for US. You can check each boat from Wilhemsen by introducing the BOL. A is always first , followed by boat indicative Ex: EA320 and the last 2 is either 01,02,03 or z1,z2 or z3.

Do you still have the code open here ?:

https://bmw-recall-tool.netlify.app/

Do you know where the inspections are done? Which truck transportation company does BMW use in Europe?

My dealer just told me that the car trace is not displayed anymore in thei software as it’s approaching soon. There is hope!

Last update: my car was in Hodenhagen (Germany) where, as was told me, all inspection will or would be done. So i dont believe that BMW will bring them back to Bremerhaven and do a booking per car by vessel (if they are not able to do more simple things)

Yes on your link:
Recall type no recall
Defect code 0099420200
VIN Status open

Yes, don’t expect my X5 to arrive in 2023 anymore, which means a price increase since they can’t register the X5 as Launch edition anymore from Jan 1.

Price increase? They can’t ask more money than stated on the quote…

I hear a lot of cars are scrapped of the ones they check. Only some go to the dealer. The numbers are mindboggling, but I won't put them here.

But even then, communication would help. I don't know if I should order a new vehicle. Or buy another one at short notice.

I have already sold my previous vehicle and I am waiting for...what?
