Welcome to the forum. What model are you looking to get? 50e's will likely be at MSRP and we have seen some 40i's at 7%, the M60i will be somewhere in between. Discounts of course vary by region, deal and timing. You may find it a bit harder to get higher discounts in your area at this time.

Yep! Same order number. When I made the swap to a 2025, they changed the original order to a more basic X5 with different colors and whatnot. When the 2025 stuff was announced, they called me and told me about the updates. When I check MyGarage, I see my ordered specs (although the picture of the X5 isn’t the m-sport that I have on order).

That’s normal from what I was told. Mine doesn’t show the correct image either but it has all the correct options. It should update to the correct picture once you’re assigned a vin number.

I am part of the batch of folks that ordered a 2024 which got pushed to a 2025. The dealer was attempting to tell me there might be a price difference (I’m aware BMW has a price lock for dealerships) however I tried to build my spec with the 2025 configurator online and it came out to be $150 less. Based upon this, there’s no way the dealership attempts to up-charge me, right? I called the dealer back and asked him about this and he told me that the price I see is what he’d see too.

Of course they try. We have had one person whose dealer said it would be $700 - $1,000 more for the MY25. Not sure if he was able to get the same price or not after talking to them again.

Prior to the 2025 online configurator coming out the dealer claimed it would only be a few hundred $ more…

Probably not. The 7 series and i7 did get a software update (by dealer only) to enable this new active lane change feature but I doubt the other 2024 models will get it.

Yup, when I called the genius they said the exact thing. So I switched over to a MY25.

hey! just joined here ... and just ordered a '25. status 111 with a production number. but forgot to ask my sa the build week and haven't called genius yet. glad to be here, nevertheless. ordered an xdrive40. tanz/tartufo. most of the yumyums. anticipation is 3/4 of anything in life ... looking forward to watching the build.

Ordered last Weds and made deposit. Today it shows in production. Dang that is fast. Mineral White with Coffee interior and just about every package.

Congrats and welcome! Great color combo. Definitely call genius and get the build week, except then once you know you can’t stop looking at the calendar and counting down the days

for the future: once you get assigned the VIN number you can then get your exact build date !

Congrats. What happened is that your dealer had a priority 3 order in there and then changed it to meet your specs. This way you were able to get into production earlier than if you waited for a new allocation.

Just joined the forum a few days ago. My order was placed last Wednedsday as well. Contacted BMW Genius and was originally a week 18 build but got moved to week 17!

I guess that's what happened to me as well. I received the order confirmation right after I placed the order with the sales yesterday, and this morning the tracking updated from scheduled to production begins. The F12 trick shows the prod date is 04/22.

What discount are y'all seeing on 50e orders? I spoke with a local dealer who said they only have 5.79% profit margin in the vehicle to begin with. I find that hard to believe.

I have not heard that any 50e allocations were issued this last time since they are still trying to catch up on production which will hopefully start at the end of the month.

Local dealer stated they have allocations this month and should take delivery by June. I don’t know if that’s true or not but that’s what they told me.
