Discounts on 2024 x5's
Looking at an existing 2024 X5 SDrive 40i here in SC. With the 2025's coming out...has anyone gotten a good discount on the 24's here lately? How good...5%, 8%, or even 10% off? No lease or loan...just a straight cash purchase. Please advise. Thanks

Of course discounts depends greatly on the location, dealer, inventory and timing. We have been seeing some in the 7% - 10% are but those were for the xDrive. sDrive's are not as plentiful so you may not see those discounts. Your best course of action would be to check out some dealers in your area and get a feel for their inventory and discounting.

In SC? I've found SC dealers to be tightwads and difficult to negotiate with. In particular Hendrick in Charleston and BMW of Hilton Head. That said they both have lots of inventory listed on their respective websites. I'd start at 10% and negotiate from there. Also watch out for $1,000 in add ons @ Hendrick. They like to stab you with tint, nitrogen filled tires, Ceramic and the like.
I've had good luck with BMW of Macon, GA and it may be worth a look. Good luck.

If you are looking to stay in SC try Century in Greenville, they were 8% off just asking on a 40i with zero dealer adds. But for a M60 or 50e it was another story..less than 6%. Still willing to deal on any models but the 40s they were looking to make a hell of a deal on ~10% in January off a fully loaded order with actual allocations available, not a waitlist.

I used to live in Hilton Head and most dealers in the area are a joke. I have purchased vehicles from both Fields BMW down in Daytona, and BMW of Gwinnett Place in Atlanta. I got a much better deal from them than I did around Charleston/Hilton Head.

Yup. I'd put Porsche, Audi and BMW of HHI in the category of difficult to deal with. Problem is that they have no local competition.

I just got $7105 in dealer discounts plus $4K Navy Federal discount in metro DC. That turns out to be 8.78% in dealer discount and 13.72% of MSRP overall. Build was a custom order 2025 XDrive40I with m sport package, mineral white, premium package, m professional package, parking assistance package, climate package, massage seats, and tow hitch, spare.
Shop around to you get a good deal on paper. Once you get it in writing, shop around the estimate with other dealers. There are deals. Some will give you BS in they have tight margins but that's not the case. |
