Contact BMW to remove all the M logos from M sport models since you’re opinion matters

Note: I don’t have the vents but I could care less what someone else does with their car.

This is a funny thing - the blowback on what some are calling "M posers." If you bought an X5M because you really wanted the performance of it that's great and I'm sure you think your money was well spent. If you bought it for the ego/prestige of owning an M and you're getting butthurt because someone else is getting that benefit for way less money, maybe you need to reevaluate your priorities in life? Honestly, for any knowledgeable BMW person they'll know what you have. And for anyone that isn't or doesn't really care about the distinction, why would you care what they think?

Seriously, isn't that why BMW choses to market a car with the M sport Pkg? You get the cool logos on what is basically just a 40i. They're marketing to owners that want to channel a bit of the M character in their ride.

Wanting to get these vents from RGSport. Also might like the idea of having that Plain M sticker with the 3color band BUT wanting the M in black instead of white. Anyone know of a solution? Would the small M fender badge happen to fit on that slat?

I see it as a factory option for the 2023.
Unfortunately mine is a 2022 and won’t fit.

so someone can apply any number of cosmetic upgrades to their G05, but if it's an ///M design such as side vents or rear spoiler, he's a poser or loser? why not the other way around?

for example, the M Performance flow-through rear spoiler which is a direct fit on top of the stock G05 rear spoiler. there's one owner who installed this on his F95 which required a G05 rear spoiler retrofit first, yet nobody gave him any flack.

Speaking of M stuff on non M cars
I bought a new 86 325ES off the showroom floor and it had a full M steering wheel on it from the factory.

I ordered the stickers in one of the other posts (Post 38). I'll take the stock M emblem off (Post 41) of the fender above the vents and only have an M on the vent it self (Post 38). I took the X5 M sticker off of the vents right away, because it's not... If that all makes sense.

Much better! I tore the X5M badge off and replaced it with just the M so I'm not going into the poser realm.

The X5M is removed and the M sticker replaced it. If you have an issue with the M on there then email BMW and whine about the M steering wheel, calipers, and wheels. Plus before they started putting the electric badge on, there was the M on the fender.

Na, took about 15 minutes.

I was going to put the M on the fender like they used to for the 45e but I decided to go this route for a cleaner look.
