How do you all find a broker to work with?
If you are in the north east / New England area I have a good dealer that's hassle free.

At least for the posts here in May, I'm seeing members receiving 7.6% (Bay Area) to 8.5% (SoCal) off MSRP before incentives. Best quote I received from dealers in SoCal is 4.4% pre incentives Any pointers to a dealer in SoCal willing to do ~8% off for a custom 45e would be much appreciated _/\_

Does submitting a BMWFS credit app lock in the current finance rate? Is there anything else I need to do to secure the rate? Am I eligible for changing to a better rate / incentives if they are better upon taking delivery of a car in transit? (not a special order, just hasn't arrived yet to the dealership)

Yes, it does lock the current rate for 60 or 90 days, depending where you are located, and it is a no-harm lock so you can take the better rate should to go down at delivery.

I just bought a 40i in Dallas and got 7.5% off MSRP. I had to pull some major strings to get that to happen though by involving somebody that has a personal relationship with the GM of the dealership. We negotiated on a Range Rover and the best they would do was straight MSRP. It's rough out there right now.

Anyone have access to June MF/Residuals/Incentives? I believe they were released today.
Assumption is they stay flat, or if anything the residual declines.

Can anyone share dealers who are willing to offer 8-10% off msrp on a factory order x5 at current time? Can't find anyone willing to go more than 4.5%.

I was hoping to see it by now as well, but I read on LeaseHackr that there are no changes to numbers for June 2021.

That is what Edmunds is saying also.

From what I have heard, there are very few, if any, allocations left for 2021 and MY2022 has not been released yet because they don't know what parts/features they are going to be able to offer due to chip shortage. If you can find an allocation, it's highly unlikely anybody is going to give you 8-10% off in this market.

Judging by what I saw on the latest offer screen on BMWUSA's site, that's the case.

My local dealership is stating that no one is discounting on X5s yet I see you all doing well within 6-10% of MSRP. He's offering 2%!

Can anyone provide a bill of sale or anything official to help me show him that I am not crazy?

It is just a salesman's tactic, they know darn well other dealers are discounting. Keep in my though, very, very few are getting 10% discounts nowadays. Many more are getting 2%.

I am about to pull the trigger on ordering a 45e, MSRP is $76,395 including destination fee. I contacted a few dealers and after some negotiation, 7.5% discount off MSRP and $2000 BMWFS rebate is the best offer so far. Is this a good deal? This will be my first BMW so would appreciate any advice on pricing and build.

Build code EHT51VOF
2021 X5 xDrive45e
M Sport
Carbon Black Metallic
20" M Star-spoke bi-color wheels
Black Extended Merino Leather
Anthracite-Brown Poplar Matte Finish Wood Trim
Convenience Package
Driving Assistance Professional Package
Parking Assistance Package
Multi-contour seats

All location dependent, but I'd say this is probably the best you're going to find in this market...especially on a 45e. Most are only seeing $2K ish off MSRP, with 5% being a "good" deal right now. A couple of months ago 7-10% off MSRP + incentives was a "good" deal.

BMW also offers a significant Veterans incentive. I got it on my 21 G05. The dealership didn't even know about it and I had to prove it to them.

Keep in mind that those military incentive amounts do not apply when leasing or financing with BMWFS. In that case the incentive will drop to $500.

Same as May. MF .00093, RV 10k/36 - 53% 12k/36 - 52% 15k/36 - 50%, $1k loyalty and likely a $500 lease credit although that can be regional.

I financed through BMWFS and received the entire $3,250 rebate on top of my negotiations.

Then your dealer will eat that when BMWFS processes the paperwork. It is stated specifically on the Military incentive offer sheet that it is only $500 when leasing or financing with BMWFS.

I second that. My dealer told me the same as well. In CA, I got the $4000 BMW incentives off the negotiated price. The break down is : $2500 - BMW FS financing rebate, $1000 - Loyalty, $500 for USAA/Penfed rebate. I ordered a custom 45e in May and locked in the rate and rebates until delivery.
