I went through a long process of figuring out the DSP tuning...
Now I am at a point, where I feel comfortable using REW/DSP Tool and the tuning.

I realized that the Flat Curve does not work for the G05.
The Highs are ear piercing... the Lows are missing. Sounds horrible.

I read that people love the sound of the B&W system.
Has anyone measured the B&W system's response?
Do we know the House Curve for it?

What House Curve works the best for the G05?

Update:
I used REW to make my frequency response measurements. Unfortunately RTA was set to Spectrum Mode.
Which is why the flat setting in my OP did not sound right. This was the reason why the flat curve did not work (in Spectrum Mode).

I should have been using RTA 1/48 octave.

After I noticed the mistake, I've redone all the measurements and the curves finally look a lot better.

A friend of mine also let me measure the frequency response of his B&W sound system in the X7. The response follows a 1dB/oct drop between 200 -> 20.000Hz.
The bass response was not very good... IMHO.

I've started following the same, trying to set my X5s speaker responses to about the 1dB/oct drop, and it sounds quite good.

The following is the response curve for my system. Right now I am pretty happy with it.
It is what I came up with, with the help of the guys on DIYMobileAudio forums (they were a great help).

The difference is night and day between this and the stock Harman setup.
I will probably reduce the levels on the lower end, a bit. I have a bit much "bass" right now.



I also measured the frequency response of a friend's X7 with the B&W system. Here the response, if anyone is interested... but this did not sound right to me... Bass is lacking. A lot. And the system just did not sound right, to me.

Your Amplifier seems to be a re-branded Bimmer Tech Alpha One, maybe someone who has that could send you their configuration for you to use as a base line.
