Upgrade HiFi on 2021 G05

Hi Forum,
It's bee a couple of years but I am back to BMW.
Came from a couple of years from driving a Meridian with 19 speakers system in a Range Rover Sport and the Meridian system in my wife's Jaguar.
Just purchased a 2021 BMW X5 with the HiFi system and it's driving me nuts...
Is it possible to upgrade and add speakers, found a set of rear HK speaker and tweeter for the D-Pillars at a junk yard and I can easily put my hands on a set of tweeters and door handles for the rear doors.
Now what to do about the amp and wiring. There is no wiring to the D-Pillars, but how complicated can it be to run two wires from each side back there?
What do you guys recommend? I don't want to take my fairly new vehicle to get butchered by a $10/hour installer at CarToys.
I am located in the general Houston area, can anyone recommend a local BMW audio expert?
Thanks,
Longhorn 35d

Garage List
you’ll find posts and threads in the forum by searching Focal, BimmerTech and BAVSound. I believe one guy posted YT video of his BAVSound installation

The BimmerTech amp did it for me. Totally woke up the system. I thought about changing the speakers, but that seemed like a of work.

I've read a lot of threads started but none of them with a happy ending... has someone add speakers and a HK booster and done some coding???... not looking for a tacky or complicated upgrade, simply need some refinement for the POS that came installed in my vehicle.

Install the Matchup 8 DSP amp. It's a 15 minute reversible job, and really elevates the base Hifi system.

It lets you for example, lower the gain on the center speaker to provide better separation. It provides much needed power in the low end.

My next step was to replace the front door speakers but I haven't really felt the need yet. This also would be a relatively straightforward job.

That's what I'm talking about... all that in a weekend...

Hey on a serious note since newts.info is RIP now, does someone has access to wiring diagrams with the color coded wires info?

Thanks!
