Breaks M50i
Trying to figure out if I should get the upgraded maintenance to cover brakes.... Generally speaking how quickly have most folks had their first brake changes?

I don't think you'll find too many folks that have "needed" to have their brakes done.
You may find some people that "opted" to upgrade to better pads..... you may even find someone that upgraded to larger brake calipers like myself... But..... I pulled off my front OEM calipers after a year, and 14,000 miles...... and my pads weren't even halfway worn. Those were the fronts. The rears last 2-3X as long To answer your question... no.... I don't think a maintenance plan is worth it for brakes.

I have x5 50d, m brakes like 50i. the first replacement of the front pads for 9000 km, the rear for 10000 km. after 5000 km, the front wear is 50% according to the mechanic, the rear is 30%. driving style is active enough but without extreme. I thought about replacing the brakes with more powerful ones.
