Rear Seat Belt Chime - Can it be Coded Off ?

Is it possible to code the car so if someone is in the rear seat and is not wearing a seat belt the car will not chime? Thank you for your help.

Bimmercode doesn't list the rear seats but perhaps they are covered under passenger.

They are not unfortunately. I'm not sure if they can be in ESys as Bimmercode doesn't support expert mode in ACSM.

Everyone is required to belt up in my car. I personally have the driver chime off so if I pop my belt while driving in my parking garage I don't have to listen to an incessant gong / chime.

It's the same thing in the back seat, if a passenger gets out it's supposed to "disarm" but it doesn't always and sometimes dings for a few blocks after I drop someone off.

I am capable of requiring people to wear their belts, I don't need the computer to assist. You can choose to leave the startup chime on which I have.

I believe it is possible via E-Sys.
I think I saw the line when I was coding customers car.
I didn't code off mine, so I can know and yell at my kids if they took off theirs.

I actually want to ENABLE the passenger and back seat chimes and that graphic on the dash that tells you who's buckled up. I tried reversing the instructions but its not working. Only the driver side chime warning works.

I'm not a fan of people riding with me unbelted so id like a reminder. A chime is a prefect social excuse to request kindly.

yep same here, i seriously hate all my friends who refuse to buckle up. I love that I can blame it on the chime to make them buckle up. I dont understand why people have to be so difficult, its not that hard to wear a seat belt.

If you're using Bimmercode they need to be reenabled with a restore from backup as the individual values cannot be reversed manually.

Ive tried via both bimmercode and Esys. They are both in a "undefined". I suspect there maybe another setting over riding them relating to the region (middle east.)
