Was able to secure an allocation .

Says it will take 3-4 months to receive.

Msrp of 123,795 +5K nardo = $128,795

7.5% off
+ $1000 loyalty
Confirmed the MF is not marked up ( put the lease together myself on dealer track and it matches to the penny )
10k
54% residual

I am doing individual color ( nardo grey) which will run 5k. ( discount was applied with that cost in it)

Just trying to decide what I want to do in terms of drive off vs more down .

I will share my details shortly .

I figured if I were to push for 10% in a east coast dealer.. the money I'd be spending on transportation defeats the extra discount and I'd have to go through the hassle. Or drive an hour and pick it up myself .

I'm finding the SoCal dealers aren't really interested in playing ball.

Yea they suck. Went to the dealership For a quote on a base X6 and they wanted 3k down $1299 a month. MSRP was 80k, getting it for me wife. I laughed and walked out.

Just got my 2021 X5MC yesterday. Managed to get 10% off.

Was able to use my March BMWFS pre-approval instead of the higher numbers in April.

Car replaced a 2018 X5M.

Congrats! Fantastic deal. Just heard back from my second SoCal dealer. They're offering $1k off.

Look at dealers further away. If you find a car on the ground, then you have a much chance to negotiate.

But then, BMWUSA's sales increased 20.1% last quarter . . .

I don't know how to negotiate car leases or purchases for that matter so I did the rough math and I realized I should probably leave the dealership. Which I did. Of course I got the obligatory call an hour later from the manager telling me they can drop the price by $6K to $119K. It still seemed like they were preparing for insertion and no indication of courtesy reach around.

I can't do it, I need to stick to buying lease returns at 55% of sticker price. 😢
Same here! and I am supposedly in the top 3% as per US govt data. LOL.

X5MC w/ 10k miles ordered 3/6/2021

Still in order bank, but here's my deal.
  • Black Sapphire Metallic
  • Sakhir Orange/Black Full Merino Leather
  • Competition Package
  • Driving Assistance Professional Package
  • Executive Package
  • Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System

MSRP: $123,795

Lease Price: $112,000
Sales Tax: $4880.76
Rebates: $1,000
Random other discount?!?: $995

Subtotal: $115,880.76
Total: $116,805.76

Down payment: $0
Total Lease Payments: $55,642.32
Monthly Payment: $1,545.62

My dealer didn't tell me the Residual or MF they did this deal with, but on leasehackr my numbers came out higher then theirs with the then current numbers. After incentives and the random other discount in my order it looks to be 11.14% if you calculate off MSRP with Acquisition fee or 10.49 without. Not sure how everyone bases it.

Red calipers are an option if interested. Don't miss it if not on the website!

Wow, awesome build and deal! Are you able to offer any tips to get this kind of deal? I recently did a build and sent it to the dealer. Below are the numbers they sent me:

2021 xDrive40i X5 w/ 10k miles

-Black Sapphire Metallic
-22" M double spoke black wheels
-Black vernasca leather
-Luxury seating package
-Premium package
-parking assistance package
-Harman Kardon surround system

MSRP: $76,895

Lease Price: $73,720
Sales Tax: $2,223.14
Dealer/Admin charge: $699

Down Payment: $2,000
Total Lease Payments: $40,104
Monthly Payment: $1,114

I have not started the negotiation process and to be honest this is all new to me. So glad I found this site! I do not want to put money down and would like to be prepared on what to say. To me, this is NOT a good deal at all. Any guidance from you all I would so appreciate Side note, I am a female and do not want the dealer to look at me and think I don't know anything and be taken advantage of with pricing. Hate to even have to say that!

I pay $1220/month for 99.5K MSRP $0 down with VA sales tax included for 12k a year. I think I got 11-12% off MSRP

Just to give you an idea.

First step is to negotiate the sale price. Not sure what the 4.0s are going for % off MSRP. Next step is to plug in the BMW monthly numbers for residual and MF into leasehacker. Dealers if u don't know what u r doing will jack it up. Final number from dealer should match whar leasehacker says.

That's how I did it. Hope it helps.

Thank you!!! Super helpful!! Great info about Leasehackr, I have never even heard of it (this shows my lack of knowledge in this area and dealers love customers like me ). Do I ask the dealer what the numbers are for residual and MF? Also, do I need to plug in the other numbers into leasehackr to get accurate monthly payment...ie Cap Cost Adjustment and Fees, Taxes, Rebates?

Thanks again
