Yeah, I was on the fence initially as I really liked the Donnington on my F97, but I needed a change. The Tanzanite sounded really promising even if I never saw it in RL until I took delivery. And the photos I had seen up to then didn't do it justice. When dark, it seems a bit mundane, tbh, but light, artificial and natural, reveal a whole nother layer of complexity to this paint. Wife wasn't sold on the Silverstone either initially since we have a 2 year old. Once she saw it's actually light gray, not white, and we could condition it, she was sold. Very pleased with this combo.

Yes, between the RIS and towing, I still don't know exactly how she'll behave unleashed. Yes, they did give me an F95 comp for the PDS to play with, but they wouldn't let me turn off DSC nor take it out of comfort mode on the engine. It was still strong and fun, don't get me wrong, but if it's anything like my F97, that sport plus engine setting is a whole different league. I'll find out soon enough. Wish our DME weren't so locked down atm. My F97 had stage 2 mods with ethanol and was extremely quick. I'm hoping this F95 will reach the same levels with additional comfort and amenities.

My "fun" setting Engine - Sport+ Suspension - Sport Steering - Comfort Brakes - Sport Trans - D3 The combo of engine and trans in Sport+ and D3/S3 really wakes the car up. I find the trans in D2 isn't aggressive enough but its fine for daily duty mode. Alan

Great question. I fretted over the very same thing as the code was NOT in my build sheet, and someone sent me a copy of a BMW bulletin where they warned they were dropping the prewiring harness from X5s without the tow package. Sent a couple of emails to my sales guy who pulled up their internal build sheet and verified it was in there. He added that the bulletin didn't apply to Ms. So the prewiring was there. Stealth added the factory module into the towing prewire, installed the hitch, then called in a remote coder to activate the module. I have all the factory towing amenities now. It's awesome!

On a different note, a local speciality shop quoted a grand for the mss springs install, plus another hundred for a 4 wheel alignment and 630 for the downpipes install. I'm providing all the parts. For those that paid to have this done, does that sound about right of performed by a competent shop?

As far as warranty, this can be very mixed. Depending on your local laws too. I would say I know nothing in Switzerland on laws so I couldn't help you. Here in the States I have no worry until I do a flash tune or mess with turbos. That has been my experience by the way.

Theres also not much they need to remove to get to the bolts like some other cars for the install. In the engine bay all they need to remove is the brace and you have full access to the strut bolts. In the trunk its even easier. You just lift the spare tire cover up and all of the rear strut bolts are right there. Alan
