I got a dealer contact (sales mgr) who is at 6-8% off MSRP depending on build. PM your email address and I'll do the intro.

My M50i lease is up in December, can't wait to order another!!

Hey TurtleBoy just wanted to also verify by you (or whoever can assist). I preordered the 2024 LCI X5 40i. I have been a NFCU member for years (never been in the military though). The guy at the dealership is adamant that in order to receive the BMW Military Incentive, I have to be an active or former military member, and that just being a Navy Federal Credit Union Member wouldn't suffice.

The BMW USA website currently states

"Do I qualify for the BMW Military Incentive?

The BMW Military Incentive is available to active duty, retired, reserve, veteran military personnel, or USAA member and their immediate families in the United States. To confirm your status, use the simple online ID.me verification tool."

Which no mention of Navy Federal (at least not anymore)

However the TrueCar website shows

"TrueCar operates the Navy Federal Car Buying Service. Navy Federal is not responsible for any offer, purchase, lease or service provided by or through TrueCar or the Navy Federal Car Buying Service.

Special BMW Incentive offers are valid at authorized BMW Centers in the United States; incentive amounts are subject to and may vary by region and model year. Cash incentives are not applicable for vehicles leased/financed through BMW Financial Services. Member must take retail delivery January 4, 2023 - January 3, 2024. Incentive offers are subject to change without prior notice. This incentive offer is available to Navy Federal Credit Union members. BMW requires presentation of a photo ID, your BMW Offer Code and your Unique Customer ID. Visit the Navy Federal Car Buying Service to receive BMW Certificate. One incentive per member, per offer code, per calendar year for new BMW vehicles without a prior retail sale. Eligible member must be the purchaser. See your authorized BMW Center for complete program details. See incentive offer form for additional offer terms."

If I am in fact eligible for the discount, how do I go about it? Sorry for the long post I just want to make sure I get the $2,000 off (will be financing through NFCU) if I am entitled to it.

Your dealer is wrong, being a member of NFCU is one of the ways to qualify for the Domestic Military Incentive.

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS:

• Active Duty
• National Guard
• Reserves
• Veterans
• Military Retirees
• Military Spouses
• Surviving Spouses
• Immediate Military Family Members
• All USAA and NavyFed members with at least 60 days of membership

Go to NFCU's car buying site (run by TrueCar), verify your membership and get the offer code. Print out the sheet and give it to your dealer.

Thank you TurtleBoy I just did it on the TrueCar website and will take it to the dealership in the coming days and see what happens. Although the code approved me for the discount once I entered my credentials, the print-out that was emailed to me states either 2022 models or 2023 models with no mention of 2024 models (maybe because the I'm guessing the 2024 model hasn't officially come out yet). I still think the dealership will give me a hard time about it, so I guess I'll speak to a manager there.

It always takes BNWFS a bit to update for a new MY.

Got it. Thanks again for the update TurtleBoy. I'll keep you posted if I run into any more issues with the incentive (which I expect will happen).

So TurtleBoy as an update, I called the Navy Federal Credit Union BMW Certificate customer service number and the rep told me that although they do honor the incentive for NFCU members, the incentive currently only applies for the MY22 or MY23. He said that it won't work for the MY24 X5. Hopefully BMW is able to update their rebate by the time the car is built and ready to be picked up unless there's something else that you can think of that I can do.

The only other thing I thought of was just going to the dealer with the NFCU Customer ID and Offer Code right before they are scheduled to get the shipment of the car and see what they say. It's somewhat ridiculous that I have to jump through so many hoops to get the incentive

You should have no problem getting it on the MY24's. Just give it to the dealer and they should process it.

2024 X5 xDrive 40i Discount?

Has anyone ordered a new 2024 X5 xDrive40i yet? Seeing if anyone has had any luck getting anything off the MRSP in the Northeast. I am looking for a very specific build Alpine White with Black Sensafin, Fineline Black Wood Trim, 22 "M Double-spoke Black Wheels (742M), Executive Package, Climate Package, M Sport Package, Parking Assist, Multi-Contour seats, Trailer Hitch, Red Brake Calipers MSRP $82,895. Is it true there is no loyalty discounts right now?

Any salesperson reading this willing to give a discount please hit me up! Thanks

So as an update TurtleBoy I ended up getting the NFCU incentive and got the $2,000 off. I wish they told me this months ago when I suggested this as now it is too late to add the DAPP to make up the difference as my car had already been in production by the time the they got back to me. Wish there was a way to retrofit DAPP. The dealer also noted that the incentive was only $1,000 until it increased to $2,000 starting April 2023 (I didn't believe that but no real point in arguing something that didn't effect me) At least I got the incentive nonetheless. Thanks again. Just wanted to follow up and let you know what transpired.

Glad you got it. As you suspect, your dealer is incorrect about the amount, it has been $2k.

I just picked up a 45e
MSRP $79,770
Military: -$2,000
Dealer discount: -$2,393
Price: $75,377

They added $995+$415, Dealer fee + registration.

I was happy with the extra $1,000 (after add-ons) off.

puraj83 I am also looking at discounts on a 2024 X5. I am reading that 8% or so off msrp is possible. Can you send me the contact details for the dealer you suggested? Thanks.
