Nice. How did you get those wheels from factory and where are you getting the carbon exhaust tips?

I didn’t, I ordered the m50d wheels seperate from the dealer as spare parts. The car comes from factory on the 22” wheels everybody can order. Bmw takes the 22” wheels back and I keep the tires for my other wheels. (I get a refund for the factory wheels minus the tires)

The exhaust tips are Carbon/titanium and are bmw m performance

The 747M 22's are much better looking than the 22's available in the states. My guess is that the 747M will be the stock 22" offering when the M50i arrives.

I also think these wheels will be offered in the M50i. The 22” who are available in the states have a bit too many spokes for me.

Those are the proper wheels (similar to M550xi) that should be available in US. Fingers crossed these make it M50i. Nice build.

Any chance you could post an image of the exhaust tips? Those didn’t make it to the US available parts.

Can you tell me more about the "ACSchnitzer performance upgrade from BMW Europe"? Are you getting this installed by your BMW dealer or by AC Schnitzer? I assume you will need to get this registered and inform your car insurance company?

Interesting as there's nothing for the G05 on ACS's website, just the F15.

It’s a tested plug&play kit from ac-Schnitzer raising the turbo-pressure, fuel injection... but it’s installed by my dealer and I keep full warranty.
It comes with a homologation certificate and I need to inform my insurance company.

So its an official X5 ACS 40i

Yes I know but my dealer contacted the importdealer from AC Schnitzer and by the time my car is delivered the pack will already be released.
You can already see the power improvement when you check the G30 5 series 40i.

They always release the new engine tune together with the cosmetic upgrades.

So the language from ACS' site reads: "Conversions using AC Schnitzer components do not affect the fundamental warranty obligation of BMW AG in relation to the entire car. The BMW warranty can only be excluded in the special case of a claim which is directly attributable to a conversion. BMW cars increased with AC Schnitzer components are therefore not automatically excluded from the warranty." Not sure how I feel about that.

I was not sure about that as well but my dealer ensured me that no matter what I will keep my full warranty. the first two years would be covered by ac Schnitzer engine wise and after that I still keep full warranty for 4 years by bmw because ac Schnitzer is the official tuner for bmw in Europe.

Got it. So is this eligible for US G05?
