This morning I ordered MY2025 xDrive40i, Skyscraper Grey, 742M all black, MSport, MSport Pro, Exec, Park Assist, Climate Comfort.

Got ~$3,500 off MSRP plus $4,000 military incentive.

P.S. Thank you for not suggesting I add DAP.

I’m also week 14 build. The status changed on mine showing scheduled for production yesterday. Can’t wait to see a VIN.

Per mygarage, the current status is "PRODUCTION BEGINS Today's the day: your BMW has entered the production queue."

I ordered the car yesterday, and already got the VIN this morning.

Is this a little ahead of schedule? I was under the impression that production would not happen until April.

Just saw that I am also status 150 with a VIN, and a build date of April 2!

Your dealer modified a priority 3 order to meet your specs so that is why were was little time between ordering and it going to 150.

Remember, Production Begins does not mean that assembly has begun. It means that a VIN has been assigned and parts ordered/allocated. This status change usually happens about two weeks prior to your production week. I saw in another thread that you have done it, once you reach Production Begins then a production date is assigned and you can get it using the "F12" process.

Yes, assembly takes less than a day. Around 4 hours or so.

Based on your experience, I just checked mine and have been moved from 4/2 to 3/28! It’s still showing MY2025, but it’s a little surprising given that the official start date is meant to be April. Not complaining!!!

I'm week 15 and saw both of your posts with earlier build times announced and checked mine and still set on original date.

Still okay though even though you guys got me excited lol. Congratulations to you both on the earlier build dates! Just around the corner!
