You should be fine. The stock setup for X5/X6 is square 20 unless you upgrade to 21 or 22. I do have the 20 square winter setup with M brakes.

The wheels should fit an 45e as well, right? I ask because when I look up your vehicle I see those wheel options, but when I look up my 45e on tirerack that wheel brand isnt available to select.

Got myself a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV winter tires in 275/45 R20 110V. Mounted them on Replika R253s in satin charcoal that almost look like the BMW 809M wheels Then took the X5 out on a relatively long-ish 550 km round trip today through some really cold weather in the morning, and came back really satisfied.

Performance in sub zero temperatures, icy and snowy conditions remains to be seen. But in terms of initial impressions in cold and freezing weather, I can happily say that these tires seem worth the pretty penny they cost. The ride is absolutely lovely, tire noise is non-existent, and handling hasn't taken much of a hit. I am sorely tempted to consider downsizing now to 20 inches in the summer just so I can find Michelins in available sizes and I can get rid of those absolutely god awful Continental RFTs.

Will update later on as the season progresses. Lots of winter driving planned for this season

I just ordered these wheels and tires as winter set for my '23 X5 45e M-sport. What do you guys think of this spec?

Got the car 3 weeks ago and finally got my winter setup with 22 and Conti.

Summer setup 22 staggered OEM tire pressure 2.2 bar or 33 psi all round from BMW.

Can anyone share what air pressure they use for a winter 22 staggered setup. I currently have 2.4 bar or 35 psi all round the way it was installed by the dealer.
Thanks

Yes they will also fit the 45e.

Yours is looking sharp. The x5 rides and drives so nice with the 22’s

Mine were set at 42 psi rear, 38 psi front.
I didn’t have the 22” option in I drive either, so I have mine set at winter and other for size.

I am not sure if there is a way to add the 22” factory spec size in I drive, hopefully someone can chime in if they know how.

I would also like to know what the ideal pressures are

Just swapped the summer wheels - staggered 22" BMW 742M Jet Back for the square setup of winter BMW 20" STAR SPOKE 748M Matt Black. I really like the look and the softer ride despite being run flats. Off for the snowy ride via Europe next week, will share some photos of my X5 from the Italian Alps.

Finally put on the cold weather shoes, much later than usually but we didn't have anything to worry about so far and I've got all-seasons for the rest of the year.
Squared up OEM 818s, 21x10.5 on all 4 corners, wrapped in Yokohama BlueEarth V905 winter tires, 295/35/21. No issues with rubbing or fitment, the rear is recessed a bit given the narrower tire compared to the 315 summers, but I'm not worried for just my winter wheels. The rest of the year I run 22" 747s.

Anyone looking to sell there winter tire package looking for 20 staggered or 21 staggered. Located in Toronto Canada. Seems like there’s a huge shortage in tires. Picking up my new x5 on Thursday.

I’m being told that these wheels don’t come in a staggered set up. Correct me if I’m wrong.
