RSE retrofit

Hi All

I know there has been some retrofits of rse.

Does anyone have any sort of guide as to how involved it is.

Coding I can handle just want to make sure i have all the parts before starting

I retrofitted the RSE in my X5 G05, itisn't that hard. The hardest thing is outsourcing the parts and wiring harness used to connect everything as OEM. I can send you the part numbers that I used.

That's not bad, I was thinking it would be more.

They stay in the same spot, the HU RSE goes right below it in the little cubby hole, that's the original spot for it.

For that cost I'd be buying two large screen tablets, two pairs of wireless Bluetooth headsets, two tablet holders, a pair of USB-C cables and I still reckon you'd have some cash left over.

The MGU HU must be changed to the one that says MGU HU High D3, and the of course add the MGU RSE. (I sourced mine off of ebay.)
