Ivory interior

People with the ivory, can you post photos of your interior? How do you like it? Any regrets? Thank you much!

I love the ivory interior, no regrets at all. It gives the cabin an extremely open and airy feel. We have a 2 year old and haven't had any issues with it getting dirty. Definitely see myself getting it again.

I must say you're very brave to do this with a 2 year old!

well we take some precautions. We have a "seat guardian" which the child seat rests on to prevent any indentations into the leather. It also does a pretty good job of catching any crumbs in the rare situations where we do allow her to eat in the car. Also have a kick mat draped over the back of the front passenger seat so that she doesn't leave any footprints on the back of the front seat.

But these are all precautions we'd be taking regardless of the color of the seats. 8 months in and so far no issues *knock on wood*.

Love it. It’s very “upscale” looking. Most everyone gushes when they first see it.
I even have 2 kids we regularly take on long distance trips. Mine still looks and smells new. I always prefer a bright interior and dramatic contrast looks.

While we don't have the pure ivory interior, we have the blue white interior which is mostly ivory in the middle and it's simply stunning. Everyone who's gotten in the vehicle has commented on it.

We have the mocha interior in our f15 and I was in love with that interior package until now driving this one. It does brighten up the interior tremendously. I think I'll probably stick with a light interior from now on.

We've had ours since February and haven't noticed any discoloration yet.

I love the look of the ivory but in my opinion, the piping really makes the look pop. I saw Ivory on Vernasca leather, so it didn't have the piping, and it didn't have the same appeal to me.

How bright is it with the sun shade open? I really like the look in photos, but I'm wondering if it's too bright in there on sunny days.

I love mine in my M50i. Had it all coated in GTecnique to protect it and everyone who has seen it has said how good it looks.

It’s bright but not too bright with the tinted pano roof. The tops of the doors and leather dash is all black exactly where you want them at eye level.

It doesn't feel too bright at all. The G05 with Ivory Merino is my wife's car and I have a 3 series with a black interior. I'm going back and forth between the two cars all the time and have never felt the Ivory was too bright.

It’s like a dyed blonde car... the seats don’t match the headliner! It does look airy and open though.

I did the ceramic coating to my ivory interior about a week ago.... today I had blue dye from jeans I was wearing... used a leather cleaner... it came right off! Definitely suggest doing some type of treatment to the seats

Yup I've done exactly the same. It's a no brainer. Ivory is by far the best looking interior on the X5 and a ceramic coat saves it from becoming stained and grubby.

I've got a 3yo and 1yo. I bought seat covers for the back seats. 3rd photo shows seat cover that one of the car seats sits on.

Ordered the full ivory interior with black alcantara headliner. I think the contrast to the BSM paint will be nice. Had a similar combo on my old 7 with BSM exterior and Oyster interior. I believe the Oyster is a bit more cream than the whiter ivory color. We shall see! The wait is killing me!

I too had the ivory (or oyster?) full leather on my F15, absolutely loved it and it still looked like new after 3 years.
Taking delivery on my G06 soon with Ivory full Merino, cant wait. Little disappointed they use black carpet and mats though, my F15 had cream carpet and mats throughout. (I used mat protectors through the winter)

My early buying history was ordering what most ordered....black. Converted to light interiors, and never went back. For me, light colors provide a brighter, more inviting environment. They take a bit more maintenance to keep that "new" look, but it's worth it. Who doesn't have a half hour every 2-3 weeks for a Zaino #9 and #10 application.

And light colors don't get dirty any more than dark colors...the dirt just isn't visible on dark. It's still there. And light looks great at night.
