I didn't get the spare fearing it would in some way hurt the cargo space like on my X3, I guess those fears were unnecessary. Now I wish I got the spare to be safe but hey it's not a big deal.

99.999 percent sure it will fit. I don't own a g05 to check for you.

On my old X3 m40i the spare wheel cleared the msport brakes.

The online configurator lets you pick both options.
It will fit. Also I'm pretty sure the m sports all have same brake size. The only difference with the M sport brake option for $600 is that they are painted blue. Size wise they are the same from what I see

I could buy the parts and do that but it'll cost $7-800 vs $150 so to me that's not worth it

Well I'm right pissed that I didn't even get the option for a spare. I assumed non-rft 22 option would come with one... but nope it sure didn't and according to my dealer its not even possible to get one in Canada yet.

That's good to know, I hope the G05 is the same

In same boat. Found a model with no spare that I liked but want to add it if it can be done reasonably.

These parts avail now?

Why would you need the spare with run flat tires?

If one of the tires became unuseable on the open road, far from where one could find proper replacements.

In terms of parts, I think the spare that worked in F15 will work with G05.

No idea, my CA added the spare to my order so I haven't looked into a retrofit

The one that got the F15 May have a different bolt pattern. Also have to see if it will Fit over MSport brakes...

I'm interested also. I'm checking with my CA tomorrow and will post if I find out anything new. I removed the option and it's too late to add back.

Nope - changed from 120 to 112 mm bolt pattern.

Yeah, the wheels are different. I had a question about using a 275/40/20 as a temporary spare and wondered if that would be ok when the other tire on that axle was a 275/45/20. But if that little donut spare would work then that sorta answers my question.

So this can't be added once in production (no surprise). There's not a retrofit kit for the G05 yet, although the kit for the prior X5 apparently costs around $300 - so that wouldn't be too bad, if it stays around same price. My bad for not going with my first impression.

Ditto. I'm getting the standard 19" and would like to know the spare tire size in order to buy it later. No one at my dealer knows either.

Wish there was an option to substitute conventional tires for run flat too.
