I don’t think adding the front splitter would make the overall look unbalanced and there would be a need to add a rear spoiler. There is the OEM M performance spoiler that can be done but definitely isn’t necessary just because you did the front lip.

I'm sorry but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to find the splitter on getbmwparts. When I search by my vehicle it doesn't come up and when I search front splitter, I'm not totally sure what I'm looking for. Would you mind a link to the part I need?

spoodle I just remembered I have one of the eBay BMW knock-offs unopened in my basement.

This is the one styled the same as the BMW option, in ABS black not carbon.

I found it by reading the earlier comments in this thread.

Might be worth a go before dropping all the cash on the expensive one from BMW if you like the BMW style most.

Let me know if you’re interested in it, I’d send your way for $100 USD plus whatever shipping is. That’s a loss for me but that’s what I get for changing my mind after buying it and going for the Maxton style instead.

Yes, Note, mine was more expensive as I got the extended sideskirts I wanted the full sideskirts not the half sideskirts. It’s a process putting it on but I like the look better.

Thanks to chicagofan00 helping me get the right OEM parts (with about a $800 savings, too!) I got the OEM front splitter installed this week. The installer said it was a perfect fit, easy to install.

However, this is my first time leasing and I know mods must be able to be removed by lease end. Do any of you think the small amount of drilling required by the install of this will cause any issues upon return?

I don’t think dealers ever check underneath the vehicle. All they really care about are physical damages visible while standing and tire tread.
