Yeah hopefully it's quick.

Not the first time I've heard about software issues. I wonder how often you guys update the software? If set to auto-update, do you worry that one version could possibly be a problematic version?

There are three major versions issued each year. For the OTA, which generally is three times a year, they pick a sub-version that has been out in the field for awhile.

letsgopony Make sure to check your VIN on the German site.

The timing of any stop sale matches what I ran into for a seat belt problem that was announced on 5/7 and blocked my (and others) delivery. It covers cars made up to 4/20. The code is SIB 52 03 24 if that means anything to anyone.

When I enter my VIN in the German site I get a message related to STOP025543. (This is new as of today)

It does not come up on the English recall site for me. Probably because it isn’t a recall (yet)

Thanks for the info! I just checked and got the same thing, "open technical enhancement" code STOP025543. Is this code related to the seat belt problem you mentioned, or is it something else?

It should be the stop sale seatbelt issue that was mentioned.

yep - It's the seat belt and not the nav system that is holding up delivery. No timeline on when that will be fixed and stop released. My car is sitting across from the factory currently so I'll let you know if I hear anything.

I'm in Michigan. I scheduled a delivery at PCD in South Carolina with one way flight with the plan to drive back with a stopoff to pick up my daughter's stuff from college. Had to cancel it - so both our trips are sunk. bad luck

They offered to still let me do PCD but fly back without the car. Flight prices jumped so just canceled. I'm holding out hope that they can get me another PCD date quickly so I can still attend.

paradocs We just finished PCD. We were able to do everything as expected, except drive it home. It was nice of them to clean it up and let us do the delivery with our car- even though we had to leave it behind. Wonderful experience!

Are you going to have to go back and pick it up or are they shipping it to your dealer?

My M60i was built on 4/16. The German site gives me “There are no open safety-related recalls or technical improvements to this vehicle.” (Thanks, Bing translator!) Nothing on the English site either. Lucky, I guess, or maybe the stop-sales only apply to the 40i?

It’s supposed to end its rail journey to the west coast tomorrow. Fingers crossed for a quick trip to the dealer and a problem-free PDI.

Here is my build! So excited as this is my first time factory ordering a car

2025 X5 M60i

Sapphire Black Metallic
Silverstone Sensafin
Black fineline wood trim

22” gloss black 742M wheels with non run flat performance tires

Executive package
Parking assist package
Climate comfort package
M sport pro package with blue calipers
M sport professional package
Anthracite Alcantara headliner
Bowers & Wilkins sound system

I’m a little worried about not adding air suspension with the 22” wheels but I’m used to driving very stiff rugged cars so I think I won’t even notice or mind (f80 m3 & lifted jeep wranglers)

(Didn’t add DAP because I rarely do highway driving in high traffic areas)
Did you pick it up yet?
