Interesting, why would you want to change that? I'll look around.
When we pull into and out of our garage, we fold the mirrors in...when leaving, you can obviously just push the button to open the mirrors, but it's easier to just let the car do it automatically. The problem is, I drive slow out of the neighborhood, so most of time the default speed is too high to unfold the mirrors until I'm on a faster road. Lowering the threshold means they will open on their own sooner. I've got it lowered on my M3, just need to code it on the X5, but the parameter to do so is not showing up in Expert Mode (BDC).

Does Carly work with ENet-->Lightning adapter? Or is there a BT adapter that will work with Carly and BimmerCode?

The Veepeak adapters are not supported by Bimmercode for the G Series vehicles.

Right you are, sorry bichoo, I use it on my F25, forgot to mention that. The one that many use on the G series is OBDLink MX+

Mine arrived today and I coded two options (Adaptive as default and No Warning on startup). Will probably get adventurous at some point and do the Assisted Driving view so I can try out Expert mode.

TB, do you have air suspension? If so, just wondering what you can code the air suspension to do.

Yes I do but I believe I read that no coding options exist for the AS.

I'm eagerly awaiting using key fob to close rear trunk lid...had it in my F15 and used it freq.
I still love the Alpina dash and M startup and love no nag warning screens. turned off seat belt chime, added Euro alarm. not sure i can notice a diff. I have Adaptive mode to on and ASS off. Have not dug deep into expert mode. still planning on doing brake force display and volume display osd to off.

Finally got a chance to use 3.5 coding update. Set Adaptive mode as default, changed setting to 5 on one-touch signal, and used expert mode to activate ADV. Wasn't sure if I'd like ADV, but was curious to see it in action. I do actually like it better than the map view and am keeping it as instrument cluster default.

ADV is cool but requires one to look at the IC which can be a distraction. As suggested in other threads I agree it would have been more effective if it was on the HUD. After enabling it for a while now I rarely pay attention to it, or when friends notice it.

Assisted Driving View, the 2020s have it but the 2019s did not get it.

But you can easily program it on the 19 if you want it.

Easy to code:
In Bimmercode, go into the Instrument Cluster ECU (aka KOMBI), enable "Expert Mode" then change the following to Aktiv:

• CB_FZG_UMGEBUNG_FAS: aktiv (01)
• CB_PRESELECT_NAVI_ANSICHT_FZG_UMGEBUNG: aktiv (01)
• SICHT_ABSICHT_ENABLE: aktiv (01)
• PIA_FZG_UMGEBUNG_FAS: aktiv (01)

Done.

M cars don't have sport mode, sport+ or eco mode so stands to reason the M display won't have these settings visible on the tach.

Does ADV work on cars that don't have driving assistant professional? I don't have any driving assistance package other than basic features that just come as standard - SLA, lane departure and proximity warning.

Can I activate ADV? Will it show me anything?

It's unlikely to work.

The coding shows a hard requirement for 3248 aka Driving Assistant Professional.

Thanks. I thought as much.

I'm not one to miss a chance to code something if I can, but I didn't expect ADV to work in my case. Just wanted to confirm.

For those who have coded ADV, do you still have to have to push the "MODE" button to get it to show up? I have a 2020 and the only time I see ADV is when I'm using ACC. If I hit the MODE button to turn it off, ADV goes with it and my map is on. So I'm assuming those who have coded it, have ACC on (although not set), to have the ADV active?
