3K deposit for securing a M3?

2016 allocations aren't easy to find and because of lack of supply, most dealers aren't willing to negotiate much on price. Once more allocations open up, pricing will be a little more favorable.

For those trying to compare 2015 pricing against 2016, it won't work because of supply/demand. Those who got an early MY15 went through the exact same thing and only when production caught up with demand, pricing became easier.

Finally got a deal done at a reasonable price! ED in June ... Excited!

BTW a dealer showed me the M3 allocations for the entire North-East region. As of yesterday, there were around 40 open allocations available for M3 and I took one of them.

If anyone is looking for a great CA and dealership in the DMV area, hit up Andy Perez @ Bmw of Catonsville. Very good to work with, knows his M cars, and no bs on pricing or other tricks.

Bought my M4 from him. My neighbor got his i8 from him as well. Good guy and use to work at Silver Spring.

Call Checkered Flag in Virginia Beach! No hassle, great customer service and most of all clear, complete and thorough COMMUNICATION. The ED process is made straightforward and transparent. Negotiate in person. Talk to Scott. You will get a fair deal but most of all he will step through the process with near instant status updates as you go. No surprises, no BS. Small deposit required, I think it is a bit more for individual color. Payment was made ONE WEEK before flight departure. Good luck and DO NOT miss the experience of taking delivery in Munich and driving through Bavaria and the Alps...!
