Question Guesses on price?

With the imminent debut of the F95, what are folks thinking about base prices for the X5M and X5MC? Historically, I can't recall the price difference between the M5 and X5M.

2020 M5 starts at $102700
2020 M5C starts at $110000

Sense the outgoing model starts at 102K, mine with options was 127K

I would guess new one will start 110K for base

Add some nice options and you will crack 130K

Now let's talk competition

My current 2018 X5M was $111695. Of course I didn't pay that. But I'm hoping I can get a X5MC stripper for $111k!! Here's to pipe dreams!!

My wife is going to replace her 2016 Mercedes GLE 63s Coupe and is looking forward to seeing the 2020 X6M. We’ve spec’d out a 2020 Porsche Cayenne Coupe at $150k so we’re hoping the BMW will be around $120k.

Can't really think of any in that price range. Cayenne Turbo S is nearing 200k fully optioned. Mercedes' offerings are 150k+

My guess is more like $110k and $117k but probably starting at $115k which is $5000 more than the F85.

Still like your X3MC? Really, the X3MC should have been our X5M replacement. But as I mentioned before in another thread, I was underwhelmed by the street driving performance. But maybe that will change. It was only a short test drive during M days.

Its growing on me and once you learn the trans it gets better. Great car and probably perfect for its purpose and price range. Plan on giving it to my oldest next year and getting the F95 in its place but honestly I could drive this as my daily driver. In some ways even better than my F85 as it is more nimble and almost as practical. We will see when the new car joins the fleet!

Whatever the price is it's too much. I'll enjoy my reliable F85 and $700 payment. I'm not that impressed. But I look forward to pics. Enjoy fellas!!

Yeah, you're probably right about the price being too much (at least for me). My 2018 X5M is paid off, so nothing beats no payment! Lol But I always get the itch after a year, and I think this F95 is going to be killer!!

I don't know we will see...I think it shares the same S62 engine and drivetrain platform as the F85 which probably means same engine which means another 50 maybe 60hp from tuning. I'll wait for the next gen engine and turbos just my $.02

But the X5MC is $6k over my budget of $110k before adding options (I can't stand the G05 base headlights)....maybe need to convince the wifey she doesn't really need the X5MC utility and settle for a stripped M5C
