Subtle noise when changing gears

I recently noticed a slight noise when changing into/out of the Drive gear, I shot a video on this, do you experience the same thing or I should take it to the dealership and have them check it?

Mine does not make that noise. Not sure if it's because yours has a package mine doesn't?

I think I noticed it after the dealer performed fixes for those recalls, not sure what is causing it though.

Mine makes that noise too, mine was built July 2021. Could be normal?

Gerry80 Did you get to the bottom of this with the dealer? I have noticed my 30d (April 2023 built with only 5,000 kms on it) doing the same thing switching between D and N (weirdly not when going into R). I'm sure this is only a recent development.

Hi, I have tried 3 different dealers and they have all told me that it is normal and apparently it is to do with something called “actuator “. Honestly it does irritate me as this is my 3rd X5 I have owned in the last 5 years and the only one with this issue. I currently now have clocked just under 8K miles since I took delivery brand new in Nov 2022. So fingers crossed
