I picked up these 9.5x20” Reps square last week and ordered the tpms on ebay for c$175/set tax and shipping in.
I will swap them in a few weeks later when the temperature drops more.

Those style rims I had on my F15 for winter. I liked them!

These are true BMW OEM TPMS on ebay? Why so cheap compared to dealer?

Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 Damage to Rocker Panels/Lower Door Areas

Has anybody experienced road rash along the rocker panels and lower door areas with their winter set-ups? I had significant pitting last winter with my Tire Rack winter package -- MSW Type 48 rims, Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 275/45 R20s -- some of which penetrated the clear coat. The damage occurred when driving on sand/gravel treated roads with the sipes apparently shooting sand/gravel toward the rocker panel/lower door areas. As of 10/2/19, BMW still has no mud flaps available. Outreach to BMW customer service was a waste of time. Only option seems to be installing paint protection film to prevent more damage this winter. Has anybody else had this problem with their winter set-up?
Appreciate any advice and thanks in advance.

I have the following splash guards on the way. Should arrive soon, but have to find time to install. FYI.

Good quality PPF is never a bad idea.

I got an offer from my BMW dealer: Style 748M M-Performance Star-Spoke black, 20’’ with Continental Grabber AT3 winter tires.

Anyone experience with the AT3 winter tires?

Just got my winter set installed a few days back. Went with the Pirelli Scorpion Winter 22s with Asanti rims. My local tire guy was able to match the online quote I got and then some. Although relatively pricey, I'm more than happy with the setup.

Installed today. It is a 20” square setup. Even with the summer spacers the rears sit in a bit. Looks small right? Oh well, they are the winters for a good value.

Looks ok. I'm getting a 20" staggered setup. I have the air suspension so I'll set it the lower setting to minimize that gap between the arches.

How does it look from behind?

I was offered a wider rear but I want to be able to rotate the 275 tires. As per RG Sport recommendation, I’m using 12mm & 15mm spacers. Rear could use 20mm.

It is raining today but here are the photos.

What center caps and TPMS do these take? I’ve ordered the wheels but need to order the rest still.

All 433MHZ TPMS should work. I got my set on eBay which was cheaper than any local tire shop even with the shipping and taxes.
Wait and measure the center cap before ordering the stickers.

You have pics of these installed on your G05? I know you shared a pic of a test fit, but I'd like to see them on an msport.

And do these need centering rings? TR notes centering rings for the 20" but not the 19"???
