Any update on what can be coded on the G05? I've reached out to a couple companies but other than start/stop and closing tailgate with the fob, I haven't found much else. Anyone making progress?

You can turn off the wireless charging tray in the iDrive settings. Don't recall the exact location of the setting, I think it was under the general settings.

I see only Active reminding in charging tray section under general setting. The thing is now it getting hot and blow out the hot air and all entire center console is hot too.

Code My Car has been GREAT in the past
See - http://www.codemycar.com/
I have worked with them on my past 2 X5s -- great results. Their web site currently lists the G05 as available for coding. Anyone check them out yet?

He’s learning every day and (my guess) should be among the earlier coders to get at more coding options. Be patient on email - he’ll come around. |

If there is anyone within about 75 miles of Hagerstown, MD that can code my X5, I would be happy to drive to your location and pay a reasonable fee to have my car coded so the automatic start stop would remember the last setting instead of defaulting to ON every time the vehicle is started. Feel free to send me a private message. Thanks.

I did it in about 3 mins...well worth the ~$60 for the app + the OBD2 adapter.

I took delivery last Thursday. My car is US specs but I am in Germany. Needless to say the Connected drive does not work, I cannot even make a profile. The apple play is the same. Does coding the vehicle will void the warranty? I am new to this coding thing. Vic |
