Arctic Grey + Black Grill
Grill is back after a £180 paint job and looks 100% better.
I am still not convinced about the Arctic Grey - you can see from the head-on shot when it is a little dirty and in shadow v direct sunlight. Clean + sunlight = great (if not still more purple than I would like), but anything else it is very flat. If I was ordering again, I would have gone black I think. Thoughts? Also got a foam lance as recommended by this lot - works a treat! |

Looks gorgeous with the black grille.
I do agree, the Arctic Grey is a bit too purple. I was starting to like it, and I thought it looked pretty good, but in direct sunlight it's just not for me. The Carbon Black is the same story, it is more of a dark blue than black. |

Massive fail by BMW not having space gray option on the G05.

He doesn't understand why BMW doesn't have industry best-selling color available for its cash cow, nor do I understand why they don't. Silver is 23% of the market...higher on luxury vehicles. Makes more sense to offer multiple variations of Black? If you prefer light colors, your X5 choice is white, metallic white, or buick beige.

Looks good to me! I really like Arctic gray a lot! It has more character than some of the darker grays BMW has been pumping out these last few years. I see a hint of blue in the paint on cloudy days which I really like.
I've had Silver/Gray, Space Gray and Mineral Gray Bimmers in the past. Arctic is my second favorite behind the Silver Gray...loved that color! I've had Black too which looks great for a few minutes after a wash. You'll get way more mileage with the Arctic. |
