It has been available in some European countries since the beginning and now appears to be available in more (perhaps the rest of them) with the 07/2019.xx update.

This is an old post, but I want to share this.

Experience this first time today. I have a narrow garage and the unistone drive way sank about half an inch below the cement floor in the garage. So everytime when I back in, the leap is detected as an obstacle, but the automatic brake was never engaged. Today, however, as I back into the garage, I feel a strong stopping force. I freaking out thought I must have hit something. Then I look around all mirrors, backup cameras, there was nothing. Then I realize it was the automatic brake because it thought I was hitting the leap. I had to disable it temporarily to backup. What an experience!

Do you have a 2019 model? What software version are you at? Does the PDC automatic braking show in your car settings menu?
