Closing Tailgate from inside after upgrade to 07/2019.55

I'm 100% percent sure I've tried this before my recent software upgrade and it didn't work but now after upgrading to 07/2019.55, I can close tailgate from inside as well.

All you need to do is to pull up & hold tailgate opening button located on driver seat door for few second and it will close your tailgate.

So no coding required for this feature anymore.

Coding was never needed for that. Closing using that button is a standard feature. Closing using the key fob needs the coding.

it was not working on 03/2019.35 so I though it is new feature. my be was a bug on .35. who knows!

We have always been able to close it from the inside with the G05.

Holding the button to close is standard. The coding I had done added one touch close for the button and open and close function to the key fob

Agreed, tailgate closing was also not working for me on 03.35 until I upgraded to 07.55

same with me, closing from inside would not work on 03/2019.45

We were able to code it using the Bimmercode App. Once we upgraded our G05 software / firmware it wiped our coding. Now the Bimmercode is suppose to get upgraded to align with the latest G05 firmware. According to the developer this will be released soon.

I asked about the. Additional coding for Assisted Drive View and that won't be available through Bimmercode but only through esys.

This evening I have asked if Anti Dazzle will be available through the App. I'm waiting to here back.

So as soon Stephen from Bimmercode sends out a new App update we won't be able to use the interior switch to close it.
