Driver Assist Temporarily "Reduced"

I have just updated the car's software and have had five recall updates performed this past weekend.

There was a terrible spell of rain this morning and I saw a new display appear on the dash. Please let me know if you've seen this?

I presume this by no means permanent.

Thanks[IMG][/IMG]

It happens to me as well while driving in heavy rain. The message has always gone away and normal functions resume when the rain lets up.

I thought the replacement camera should have fixed these issues. Was one of your recall for a new camera?

There were some bad cameras causing the same, or similar, message but in the case of heavy rain/snow this is an expected message.

I actually don't know, I'd have to take a look at the invoice. I mentioned since it was a new screen not seen before. However, I didn't receive any consequent message so. Likely it was due to the severe weather.

My local dealer here has told me that Driver Assist program on the G05 is heavily dependent on the vehicle's Cameras - front, rear and sides - and if the camera's view is obstructed by dirt, water or heavy rain - its common to get that message.
If it continues after heavy rain, try cleaning each of the camera views....

Which side and rear camera is Driver Assist program using? You mean parking cameras?
I think it is using only front camera under the windshield and wipers are wiping its view and side and rear sensors.

For me the prompt came up and indicated front windshield where the rear view mirror is. It's in the photo and was likely triggered by the bad weather
