PDC not working

Hi,

My BMW service partner replaced my left doorhandle, because it had a scratch (backdoor). The repair took 3 minutes.

When getting back my car, the message "PDC not working" (or something similar) appeared, no acoustic signals, no markers on the camera-screen.

PDC worked when I parked the car at the dealer...... so seems very likely it could have to do with the replacement of the doorhandle, but this also sounds very weird......

I went back to the service partner and could only have an appointment on december 6th.

Anyone experienced a similar issue and maby a "quick fix"??

Did you try an iDrive reboot? I know that his fixes my Driver Recorder and remote 3D views.

To reboot: have engine running, long push of the volume button (about 30sec). iDrive screen goes dark and then after a minute is alive again.

Yes, I did, didn't solve the problem.

Today, I started the car, message about PDC didn't appear. PDC functions as normal........
