My friend that installs the Clear Guard says that the clearplex is basically not for daily drivers since it blurs the windshield a bit as he has it installed on his Porsche.

Where did you get your Clearplex?

There are few installers in Edmonton. I did xpel and clearplex package.

Nah its not that bad. Id say it retains 97-98 percent of clarity. I have zero problem with visibility for my car with clearplex on.

I was charged 360 i think at west edmonton. I forgot the places name but close to the mall.

Im in Orlando Florida and they charge 450. They said it takes half a day to install. That seems like a long time. lol

Yup it takes a day for the glue bt clearplex and window to set (its translucent at first so you prolly cant drive the car anyways). So far its the best investment ive done for this car.

Im still debating because Floridians get free windshield replacements but it always a hassle.

The 2018 Lexus with 5k miles had 2 big rock chips when I traded it, so I dont think its just exclusive to BMWs.

Another rant. Side of my car has multiple rock chips. One is through the paint. Any fix for this? I fucking hate this city already
