Exhaust tips on an m50

Anyone done it?

I’m wondering what size tips I’d need to buy. Also curious if anyone knows where I could get high quality tips…..

I’m guessing can take the tips to a muffler shop and they can install?

Any advice?

I installed and X pipe, removed the muffler, installed resonators and tips. The wife does not like the sound too much, so that means it sounds good.. LOL

Not sure if you are going for the muffler delete, but this is a good thread.. The items I used are on page 10, and you will find some sound clips as well

Assuming you are going to remove the OEM trim piece (metal exhaust tip), I believe you can fit up to 4'' aftermarket tips without getting too close to the plastic bumper trim. If you're going to keep the OEM trim piece in place, I had previously used Daycar black coated polished tips from Amazon on the OEM pipes. Length is 5.5 inches and diameter is 2.75 inches.
