Blown Fuse?

Hi guys. My daughter sent me a message regarding her X5 45E that her phone charger is no longer working (through 12v outlet). Told her to try another phone charger and she said it's not working at all, so I am suspecting a blown fuse. Does anyone know where the fuse is for that socket? Thank you all

Did it ever work?

BMW uses 12v accessory sockets in their vehicles. Some 12vdc devices use cigarette sockets, which often will not let the center contact reach the corresponding spot in the bottom of the socket. BMW will swap it for you if you ask. The two look very similar, but the specs are different.

Also, you may find it useful to download the fuse assignment specifically for your daughter's VIN at the following BMW link;

YOUR FUSE ASSIGNMENT PLAN - You can download the fuse assignment plan for your vehicle as a PDF document here if needed.

Indeed, it was a 20amp blown fuse. Her friend found the location and replaced for her. Thank you all!

Not sure. I sent her the link (she's in college) so her friend helped her find it.
