Volume Changes in CarPlay
Hi All...
Noticed after the most recent software update that I have to crank up the volume while in CarPlay almost all the time. Then, if I change back to the radio or take a call it cranks right back up. Soft reset doesnt really help. Anyone run into this? |

No real consensus on a universal solution, and I've attempted everything that's been suggested. I have an iPhone 14 pro, B&W, and iDrive 8.5. Incredibly frustrating issue, because the sound discrepancy is immense. |

What version of vehicle software is installed on your cars?
I am now on 07/2023.58 (with ID8.5) and have no issues with volume between carplay and other sources. Of course Carplay is typically lower than other sources, but thats normal behavior. |

Not sure....took delivery first week of August, so mid-July production?
I'm running .53 after the dealer updated my iDrive to 8.5, although I had the identical issue before the update. I had the same issue for all 3 years of my 2020 as well, however the transition in volume was far less pronounced. |
