Turning noise

Hey hey! New to the forum, new to X5 ownership. New to me 2021 with little over 20K on the reel. Has a “grinding” sort of noise when turning the steering wheel. Thoughts? Looking forward to better posts in the future. Pic of the new girl for reference

I had the same issue in my 2022, the noise appeared 1 year after delivery.

BMW replaced my steering rack under warranty. Is your car still under warranty?
