2022 order cancelled
Hi guys, my 2022 45e order that had a "requested production week of 29 no longer appears on mybmw. I called genius and they said my order was likely rejected. I am bummed considering I put this order in mid May. My CA said he would try and option a 2023 with a similar price.
Should I expect the CA or BMW to honor the 2022 price? The car will be more expensive given the higher MSRP and the higher cost to borrow compared to a month ago. |

Same happened to me. CA converted MY22 (105 Status) to MY23 (111 status) mid-August build date. We shall see about honoring the same price. Last edited by Di3s3l_Power; 07-21-2022 at 01:25 PM.. |

Thanks for the input. I called BMW North America and they said all pricing goes through the dealer and that they do not get involved in these conversions.

That is correct, dealers set the price. There is a factory price hold (price increases during the MY) but as far as I know that doesn't come into play between model years. Perhaps your dealer will work with you on the difference or maybe the price will be active.
