Afternoon Everyone,

I have an x5m due for delivery in 3 weeks and want to order a sets of wheels for it but require some help with spacing and sizing.

Does anyone know what’s the widest rim you can run a the 2022 x5m in 22”

Looking to do something similar to the below,

for rear flush fitment you need 12mm spacers,
Rear wheel - 12 wide x 22" offset 43. should be safe, i did this on my previous ///M5.

They look great, is your car lowered. Do you think a 345 would fit in the rear once lowrwerred

Yes car is lowered with MSS adjustable springs. I only did a mild drop of around 1.5in.

I cannot remember what the exact offsets were but think 345 would be too wide. There are no spacers used here either.

You guys gotta say the offsets when mentioning fitment. Just saying the width and tire size does not help. 🤦🏽‍♂️

To answer this question accurately you really need to measure inner and outer spacing with stock offset and then calculate from there. You'll get a theoretically widest rim at a certain offset and then need to hone in on a wheel that maximizes that, or wheel/spacer combination. With that said, I have NFI what the widest rim is.

don't forget to factor in contact patch and scrub radius once you get into it all if you're doing this for performance reasons. in addition all that changes if you lower the vehicle so calculate and build accordingly. just because it is wide doesn't mean it is meant for your ride.

I made one typo. Fronts are 10in.

Front: 22x10 ET19
Rear:22x12 ET38

Let me know if you want contact info!

My setup is:

21x11 +25
22x12 +34
https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=30mm&sr=0mm
Fronts compared to stock

https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=30mm&sr=0mm
Rear compared to stock

OEM tire sizes. Fits great, but I could definitely go wider based on my math.

Seeing as the OEM fitment is;
21x10.5 +31
295/35/21

22x11.5 +43
315/30/22

I calculate

https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?whe...cl=30mm&sr=0mm
Fronts 315/30/21 on 12x12 +35, but would need to measure suspension clearance and caliper clearance

I couldn't quite get the site to work, but if you could somehow get a 22x13 +43 it would probably work with a 345/25/22 if those tires are even made.

Doing some basic math here..considering the oem wheel specs and some are doing 15-25mm spacers then we can easily go much more aggressive with the offsets. Why is nobody going more aggressive? 🤔

I know you can go wider but then tire choices seem to become problematic and you’ll need higher offset. Lower offset will most likely result in a more pleasing concave face wheel vs a flat face. 🤷🏽‍♂️

OEM Tire Specs:
295/35/21
315/30/22

OEM Wheel Specs
21x10.5 +31
22x11.5 +43

Aggressive Fitment Wheel Specs:
21x10.5 +11 or +6
22x11.5 +23 or +18

You get a hair too much poke I'd say. I haven't seen too many people actually lowered on coils, just springs.

Well…there is another member on here running the exact aggressive specs I mentioned above and it looks perfect.

Check the fitment pics below..
